Triboo on Intune

Triboo pursues the promotion and digital transformation of its partners as a goal with a complete offer of digital services, consultancy and training.

It manages hundreds of transactions on E-commerce platforms all over the world, creating vertical digital content for hundreds of clients and, moreover, for the 50 owned editorial titles.

Triboo Group had previously adopted Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and chose us for the transition to the new Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance & Supply Chain platform, and continued to work on various enhancements to the current system and the integrated Microsoft CRM.

We have also recently been involved in the implementation of Intune.
The situation found at the time of the analysis was an Intune configured and in use, but not optimised in the new functionalities.
The main problem encountered was that the customer had blockages related to unmanaged and unknown domains, expired certificates and ‘mandatory’ configurations that prevented the correct onboarding of PCs on the platform and in the domain.

As necessary as it is to implement features such as:

• Proper use of the platform

• On premise component migration

• Obsolete configurations for renewal

• New configurations and enhancements

• Deploy app

• Security enforcement activities

• Cleaning/removing obsolescence and no longer needed functionality

• Automated software management

• Onboarding MacOS

• Full check

The initial effort of our innovation team was to understand all configurations, dependencies and to bring the obscure parts to linear, functioning setups. This is done through system integration on a new server, the connector of which releases certificates on endpoints via Intune.

This made possible the optimisation of what was already in place and subsequently the implementation of improved configurations and solutions for the customer.
Now the customer can manage everything from Intune, including even MacOS devices.
The project is not yet finished because it involves a MacOs configuration with some security enforcement tips and a general audit at the dashboard level.

These certificates make the PCs connect to a VPN, automatically land on the on-premise infrastructure and autonomously hook up to on-premise configurations.
We configured and fixed policies that no longer worked, such as the correct activation of Windows. We configured customisations and PC security settings (display zoom – windows firewall etc.).
We created new security policies to make endpoints more secure with LAPS (local admin password solution) technology, security on automatic Windows updates to desired and recent versions with additional options to switch from different versions (e.g. W10 to W11)
We investigated the cause of some blockages that occurred, and solved them by setting the correct setup during the onboarding phase. Even in the event of component failures, setup logic was applied to continue the installation and solve it afterwards (automatically and otherwise), effectively circumventing the blockade.
Deployments of standard and customised APPs and their update cycle were implemented, training the customer’s key user to make him autonomous in management.
