Viridea

Viridea is the largest chain of Garden Centers in Italy with eleven stores, distributed in northern Italy. Three areas in which Viridea specializes: greenery, home & decor, pet. Each Garden Center offers a rich and assorted range of products from the best brands for the care of your garden, your home or your pet.

Since 2009, Viridea has chosen Microsoft as its IT partner.The ERP adopted for the management of its companies is Microsoft Dynamics Business Central with the vericalization ai4Garden, an implementation with constantly new features tailored to handle the particular flows of the Garden world.

ai4Garden is the ERP solution specifically designed for the all-inclusive management of a Garden Centre. Based on Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, ai4Garden fulfils every requirement: from purchase order entry and warehouse management to product sales, including a comprehensive financial package and solid Microsoft business intelligence. The company can standardize and optimize internal processes, manage the interface with RF terminal checkout software and E-Commerce platforms, schedule procurement and track sales data, all supported by native integration of Microsoft Office tools.

Viridea began relying on Cloudia in January 2019, after several not-so-positive experiences with other Dynamics NAV partners.

Initially, we implemented automatic management of electronic invoicing, and then, finding a prepared and responsive contact person, all business flows were reviewed, updated and improved, from receiving the supplier catalog with its automatic entry into the system, to invoice registration, sending to the SDI and printing tax records.

In 2020 we also upgraded the version of NAV from Dynamics NAV 2018 to Business Central, implementing new functions in the garden area.

In 2022, we planned to automate all sending and receiving of documents to Suppliers, an activity that Cloudia has already begun to develop.

A main characteristic that we have found working now for several years, with them is the flexibility and competence of the people who support us in developing the Viridea project.

Collaborating with Viridea and the business realities involved is meant to be more than just a customer-supplier relationship. We like to set up the working relationship exactly as a partnership, as a journey to be traveled together in order to foster the growth of both realities.
